Undergraduate Student Scholarships

Available for 2009-2010

 

Deadline for Applications: September 4, 2009

 

FWC Undergraduate Scholarships are available to men and women students who will be Juniors or Seniors Fall 2009.

 

Note:  If you have received an FWC Scholarship of any kind, you are not eligible to apply again.

The interviews will be conducted only on October 1, 2009; there is no alternative date, nor are telephone interviews acceptable. 

The UCLA Faculty Women’s Club offers several undergraduate scholarships with the following requirements:

A completed application and a letter from your parents/grandparents identifying your relationship and reason for applying.

 

A completed application and proof of having maintained at least a 3.5 GPA in your most recent studies.

 

Letters of reference are accepted but not required. 

Please submit your application and materials in six collated sets (original + five copies) before September 4, 2009 to:

Students should receive their application form from the Financial Aid Office.

 

* FWC Direct Descendant Scholarship

For students who are direct descendants (children, step- and adopted children, grandchildren) of UCLA full-time, retired full-time, academic and/or administrative employees or Annual, Life or Golden members of the UCLA Faculty Women’s Club. 

 

** The Fietta Wilkin Clendenin/FWC Memorial Scholarship

The Fietta Wilkin Clendenin/FWC Memorial Scholarship, established by Professor John C. Clendenin in memory of his wife, provides a scholarship every other year for the spouse of a member of the UCLA faculty or administrative staff who is continuing or completing his/her education.
