Attending
a Multicultural Luncheon given for Board Members by Shirley Ho on
November 14, 2008 were
Marjorie, Joyce, Glorya, Agnes, Barbara, Joanne, Mollie, her cousin Nora,
Diane, Mary Ann, Vanae, Helen, and Mary Lou. The food was Thai with an
American style dessert and was enjoyed by all.
Special presentations were given on Japanese, British, African, and pandemic
Jewish cultures. In addition to a beautiful operatic piece sung both
in English and Chinese, Shirley also read her original poem, all on the theme
of "Friendship."
Unable to be there were Rita,
Mary Alice, Pat, and Toshi.
