Playreading
The Playreading Section, an informal study group, in association with the UCLA Emeriti Association, meets at the UCLA Faculty Center to explore classical and contemporary plays for the theater. Individuals from the group are cast to read aloud with script in hand one or more parts from the selected plays. Others may enjoy the Playreading section as audience. Afterward the cast and audience share discussions of the play and playwright as time permits. Guests are welcome. Rehearsal is generally one week before the scheduled playreading. |
