Play Reading
The Play
Reading Section, an informal study group, in association
with the UCLA Emeriti Association, meets at the UCLA Faculty
Center to explore classical and contemporary plays for the
theater. Individuals from the group are cast to read aloud
with script in hand one or more parts from the selected
plays. Others may enjoy the Play Reading Section as members
of the audience. Afterward the cast and audience discuss the
play and playwright as time permits. Guests are welcome.
Rehearsal is generally one week before the scheduled
meeting.
